Founding Lead Engineer / Remote / Full-Time TL;DR: Early-stage design software startup, Whitespace is seeking our Founding Engineer to build our MVP and beyond, working directly with our Founder and Advisors to play a central role on the product and engineering team.

About Whitespace We’re building Whitespace, the Operating System for design. 

Our mission is to capture every single conversation, crit session, feedback loop, sticky note, UX research survey…everything about how, why, and when we arrived at a decision in one spot. 

Whitespace takes your design files and puts them into story mode. We take the best features from Github, Notion, Slides, and combine them with key parts of project management to help teams document and capture all design context in one unified workspace.

We believe that the working infrastructure category for design (design ops) is in its early innings. The impact that design ops will have on design will be similar to the impact that DevOps had for Development. 

We believe Whitespace will replace Google Docs and complement other design ops & project management in the design process. 

We are looking for people passionate about design and productivity software, and have an opinion on how we build and design products in the future.
